Not sure if your plumbing issue is urgent? Think about whether there’s a risk of flooding. If water is leaking fast or pooling up, shutting off the water and calling for help right away is the best move. Flooding can cause serious damage in no time. Sewer backups are another major problem. If sewage is coming up through your drains, it’s not just unpleasant—it’s a health hazard that needs immediate attention. A lack of running water or a burst pipe can also turn into a disaster quickly, so don’t wait to get it fixed.
On the other hand, slow drains, minor leaks, appliance installations, and routine inspections usually don’t need to be handled right away. If the problem can wait, it’s not an emergency. But if it can’t, give us a call.
If you ever need to turn off your home’s water supply, most houses have a main shut-off valve that stops all water flow. In warmer areas, it’s often outside, while in colder climates, it’s usually near the basement, crawl space, or water heater. Some homes have it under the kitchen sink. If you need to shut it off at the water meter, you may need a special tool. Learn more about your water shut off valve.
Gas leaks are serious and require immediate action. If you ever suspect one, get everyone out of the house right away. Open doors and windows to let the gas escape, then call for help from a safe location. Never ignore a gas leak—it’s not worth the risk.

We are proud to have earned the trust and confidence of our customers through our commitment to excellence and exceptional service.
Andrew was so helpful. He was able to get my sewage pump up and running, saving me having to buy a new one! Very pleasant and found confidence in him right off. Next plumbing problem, calling R.E.D.
I had Shawn, RED technician, re-level two toilets that had been installed too high on one side. Shawn was great. He leveled both toilets perfectly level, replaced the wax rings, caulked and cleaned up after he was done. Shawn was friendly, respectful, on time and completed the job to my satisfaction. Thank you RED for hiring experienced, knowledgeable and courteous technicians and staff.
R.E.D. did an excellent job moving some plumbing and installing a new bathtub. They finished the job more quickly than anticipated, and left the work area spotless (and in fact, actually cleaned other areas of the house on the way out). Based on this experience I would highly recommend them.
